Thursday Enrichment
Thursday classes are for kids ages prek-8th grade. Students will not get homework. Each class is 45 minutes.
PreK
Our Preschool/early kindergartners will rotate through 3, 45-minute classes. Their fall classes will consist of Let’s Get Moving, Free Play, and Alphabet. Spring classes will be Duplos, Free Play and Story with craft.
Animal Art
Students will learn about a different animal each week and complete an animal based art craft.
Woodworking
Students will learn how to safetly use hand tools to create various woodworking projects.
Make Your Own
Students will create various types of projects from comic books to cardboard creations.
Kindergarten
Kindergartens will rotate between 3, 45-minute classes. Fall classes are animal art, Let’s Get Moving and Lego Science. Spring classes are Lego Science, Art and Story with Craft.
Lego Science
Students will learn various age appropriate science lessons using Lego science curriculum. You can find more info on their site.
Solve the Mystery
Students will work as a team to solve various mysteries.
Jewerly
Students will create various types of jewerly.
Let’s Get Moving
Students will get up and moving with a variety of physical games and exercises.
Heritage Hymns
Students will learn the history of various Christian Hymns through hands on fun.
Around the World
Students will learn about a different country each week. They will explore the world through stories, music, crafts and games.
Art
Students will learn various aspects of art skills.
The History of
Each week student’s will learn the history of various items. Some topics may include: history of video games, cell phone, the internet, and movies.
Cartoon Art
Students will have weekly lessons learning a variety of cartoon skills. Some skills include cartoon faces, expressions, lettering, Kawaii animals and big anime characters.
Handicrafts
Students will create a variety of handicrafts such as knitting, crocheting, jewelry-making, hand-crafted candles and soap, etc.
Dance/Aerobics
Students will participate in various dances and exercises to get their heartbeats up.
Story and Craft
Students will read a story each week and complete a coordiating craft.
