Fall 2024

The hub has opportunities for multiple levels of learners. Classes are grouped based on age. Classes are held on Thursdays from 915 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Ada Christian Reformed Church.

All students will participate in a morning assembly which consists of a short Bible lesson, and song. Students will then attend their various classes throughout the morning. Students MUST be dropped off for this program unless the parent volunteers.

Fall 2024 Field Trips will include: Ford Museum and Outdoor Discover Holland

Woodworking

Students will gain practical skills and will have fun while learning age-appropriate woodworking skills. Projects may include: Name carvings, stilts, block games, catapults, and more!

Jewelry Making

Students will create various kinds of bracelets/necklaces out of pony beads, washers, string, yarn, rubber band looms, and more. *A Weekly Outline can be provided if needed.

Science- Lego Challenges

Students will increase their science skills through solo and group lego challenges.
*A Weekly Outline can be provided if needed.

Duct Tape History

Students will learn about Knights and Warriors from history while creating from cardboard and duct tape. *A Weekly Outline can be provided if needed.

Drama/Story and Crafts

Students will learn public speaking skills through fun interactive skits!

Older Students- Will write and create a group play from their favorite fables/stories.

Younger Students- Will listen to a story each week and have an accompanying craft or activity.

Election 101

Students will learn about the election process in our country. Classes will be taught in a fun, hands-on manner using the curriculum from Sonlight, modified to fit our students. *If you would like to see specific lessons please email us and we will gladly send it along.
